Council Christmas Party – Saturday December 10

The Knights annual Christmas party will be held at OLMC McCready Hall on Saturday, December 10, 2011 beginning at 6:00 pm.  Tasty chicken and punch will be provided by Grand Knight Bill Franke.  Come one, come all.  Each family attending is asked to bring a dish to share with other Knight families.  Have a blast with fellow brothers, share stories about that Christmas tie that no one will take off your tie rack.  There will be plenty of free parking.

Council Christmas Tree Raising – Dec 3. noon

Help Needed-Saturday Dec 3 at noon. The Knights will be raising and decorating the annual Light up for Christ Tree at OLMC on Saturday 12-4pm.  This tree will be on display during the Advent season for the Parish and visitors to enjoy!  Dominic did the hard part by driving up to Pinetop and cutting down two beautiful 18 foot Blue Spruce. Now we have to raise it up and decorate it. It will take more than 3 or 4 people to raise the trees, so don’t be shy.  Now is your time to get in the holiday spirit and give an hour or two of your time.  The heavy lifting and raising of the tree will be at noon.

Thank you for your time and support!

Our sincere thanks to all of you who donated time and/or money towards making the 2011 PID Drive a success.  We were able to raise close to $2,000 to donate to various organizations supporting people with intellectual disabilities.  We will be determining distribution amounts at the November General Council meeting.  Please attend and voice your preferences.

PID Drive this weekend!

We need volunteers for OCT.21-23 at the Fry’s stores at Rural and Southern and Mill and Southern to assist in collecting monies for the Knights of Columbus PID Tootsie Roll Drive. Please call Bill Franke for scheduling. Each shift is only 2 hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Please reply–we could really use the help! Your time is greatly appreciated.

Yours in Christ!—Bill 602-510-0512
